1 Day Homeland – Tatabanya (Ungarn)
Trip to Hungary. The trip through the small country in the Centre of Europe has much to offer.
2 Day Tatabanya – Timisoara
Arrival at the Rumanian-Hungarian border, meet the guide and then go to Timisoara. City tour in Timisoara before dinner. Here you will visit the Roman Catholic Cathedral and the Orthodox Cathedral. Timisoara located in the west of Romania, surrounded by Hungary and the former Yugoslavia, is a city with a western character. Festive dinner with wine tasting in the Winery Recas.
3 Day Timisoara – Orsova – Turnu Severin
In the morning trip through Orsova till Turnu Severin. You will see different regions, from the mountain area of Banat to the widen hills landscape of Oltenia you will go to the Danube city of Drobeta Turnu Severin, named after the Roman Septimus Severin. In the afternoon you will go to the cataracts for an excursion boat.
4 Day Turnu Severin – Ramnicu Valcea
In the morning visit of the Iron Gates Museum. Then you will visit one of the oldest monasteries in Walachia, the Monastery Tismana. Today you can find here workshops, where traditional carpets for the Small Walachia are woven. Afterwards trip to Horezu, where you will visit the monastery. This place is a famous centre for handmade ceramic.
5 Day Ramnicu Valcea – Bucharest
Today you will get to know the Romanian Capital, Bucharest. Here you will visit the Patriarchal Church, the Romanian Orthodox Patriarchal residence, the Parliament Palace, second largest building in the world. Then you will go to the open air Village Museum Dimitrie Gusti, where you can admire houses from all over Romania. In the evening, festive dinner with folklore program at the Pescarus Restaurant.
6 Day Bucharest – Predeal
In the morning you will visit the Peles Castle, the summer residence of the Royal Family. Not very far is situated the Sinaia Monastery, built by the orthodox monks, who came from the Sinai Peninsula. We continue to Bran, where you will visit the so called Dracula Castle, the knight\'s castle from the 14th century. In the afternoon you will go to Predeal (1200 m).
7 Day Predeal – Brasov – Sibiu
The day begins with a city tour in Brasov. City tour in the center, where you will get to know the most important sights: The Black Church, the Town hall, the Rope Street, Catherine\'s Gate and the small Orthodox Church from the center. Afterwards trip to Sibiu through Fagaras. The buildings from the Big and Small Square, the Bruckenthal Palace and the Liar’s Bridge, are just a few monuments that influence the entire city image.
8 Day Sibiu – Arad - Tatabanya (Ungarn)
Today you will leave Romania you will go through Sebes, Deva and Arad to Tatabanya.
